1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp ground black pepper

1 bay leaf

4–5 black olives, sliced

2 lemon wedges (for finishing)

Instructions (Nutri-Stahl 1 QT Method):

Sauté the Base

Heat oil in the Nutri-Stahl 1 QT over medium heat.

Add onions and carrots, sauté until softened and lightly golden.

Add Flavor Layers

Stir in chopped dill pickle, mushrooms, and smoked sausage.

Cook for 3–4 minutes until fragrant.

Broth & Spices

Add tomato paste and smoked paprika, stirring well.

Pour in broth, add bay leaf, pepper, and olives.

Cover with lid and simmer on low for 20 minutes.

Remove bay leaf.
