Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breast)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (or sesame oil)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
- ½ tbsp rice vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
- 1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)
- ½ tsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat the Nutri-Stahl 1 QT Cookware
- Place the pot on low-medium heat. Add the vegetable or sesame oil.

Sauté Aromatics
- Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cook the Chicken
- Place the chicken thighs in the pot and sear for about 2 minutes per side until slightly golden.

Add the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, water, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.

Simmer and Cook
- Cover with the lid and let it simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.
- If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with 1 tbsp of water and stir it into the sauce. Simmer for an additional 3 minutes.

Garnish and Serve
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables.
