Garlic Lemon Butter Tilapia

Ingredients:

  • 4 tilapia fillets (or any white fish)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried oregano (or parsley for garnish)
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • ½ cup spinach (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Nutri-Stahl Skillet

    • Set your Nutri-Stahl Large Skillet to medium heat. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter until melted.
  2. Season the Fish

    • Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel.
    • Sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
  3. Sear the Tilapia

    • Place the fillets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and flaky. Remove and set aside.
  4. Prepare the Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce

    • In the same skillet, add remaining butter and olive oil.
    • Stir in minced garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
    • Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and cherry tomatoes (if using).
    • Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, then toss in the spinach until wilted.
  5. Combine & Serve

    • Return the fish to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the fillets.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley or more lemon slices.
    • Serve with rice, quinoa, or steamed veggies.
