½ lb lamb shoulder, cut into small cubes

¼ cup dried apricots, chopped

1 tbsp olive oil

¼ small onion, finely diced

1 garlic clove, minced

½ tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground cumin

¼ tsp turmeric

¼ tsp paprika

1 tbsp tomato paste

¾ cup low-sodium beef broth

1 tbsp honey

Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Preheat & Sear
Place your Nutri-Stahl 1 QT over medium heat. Add olive oil and allow it to warm. Add lamb cubes and sear until browned on all sides (about 3–4 minutes).
2. Build the Aromatics
Add diced onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Layer the Flavor
Mix in cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, and paprika. Stir to coat the lamb evenly. Add tomato paste and cook for 1–2 minutes to deepen flavor.
4. Simmer to Perfection
Add beef broth, chopped apricots, and honey. Stir well. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 25–30 minutes. The Nutri-Stahl’s design allows for moisture retention, so minimal liquid reduction is needed.
5. Finish & Adjust
Season with salt and pepper. If needed, simmer uncovered for a few minutes to thicken the sauce.
