Ingredients

1½ pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon oil

1 cup fresh pineapple chunks

1 small onion, thinly sliced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon grated ginger

2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper

1 tablespoon tamarind paste

1 tablespoon soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon brown sugar

½ cup water
-
Salt

Fresh cilantro or basil for finishing
Instructions

Heat your Nutri Stahl sauté pan over medium‑high and add oil.

Add pineapple chunks and cook until caramelized on the edges. Remove and set aside.

Add onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Cook until softened.

Add cracked black pepper, tamarind paste, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir until the mixture becomes glossy.

Add water and bring to a simmer.

Add shrimp, stir once, and immediately cover with the Nutri Stahl lid.

Reduce heat to medium‑low and cook for 4 to 6 minutes until shrimp are just cooked.

Uncover, return pineapple to the pan, and simmer 1 to 2 minutes to thicken the glaze.

Adjust seasoning and finish with herbs.
